Morning Commute

20min speedy before work...
Stopped at a red light and stared at this spot along Beverly Glen during my morning commute. Can't remember exactly what the sky looked like... The scene was quite contrasty though.. if I remember correctly...

TreeBurst

Hola Everyone!
I've had this story swirling in my head for some time now. The Adventures of Captain Fishsticks. It's about a girl and her friend exploring the nooks and crannies of an apartment complex like Kowloon Walled City... I have more from this series, will post more!

Green Mts, Blue Bisons

Remember those blue cows in Laputa? They were so cool.
I made mine here more Bison-like...
Man, I can paint mountains all day.

Hong Kong

I left Hong Kong when I was 8. I tried to recapture what I felt there... the sounds, the weather, the smell.. .ahh, that sewage smell... If only we have smell-o-vision...

Smoggy City

Did this last year for a homework assignment in Landscape class with Robh. We went to Chinatown to do some field research. Even had Dim Sum for lunch. Honestly, one of the most enjoyable classes I have ever taken. You get to paint on location with your friends, and have Dim Sum... can't really ask for more.

Don't think I got the take-home part of the assignment quite right. Doesn't look Chinatown-ish. I was more inspired by Sparth's work at that time.
